Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) Accredited Training

IOSH Managing Safely introduces a completely new approach to managing health and safety. This four-day fun & interactive presentation is for managers and supervisors from any sector, and any organisation and is designed to get delegates up to speed on what they need to know, and are perhaps reluctant to learn, and the practical actions they need to take to manage health and safety in an informative, thought provoking and memorable manner.

IOSH Working Safely is a one-day high impact interactive course offering all the basics with jargon-free technical content focused on what employees need to know in practice using clear scenarios drawn from genuine work situations to drive home practical points. National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) Accredited Training

NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety is the most widely held health and safety qualification in the UK and is suitable for managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively and covers the main legal requirements for health and safety in the UK, identification and control of workplace hazards, and the practical application of this knowledge.

Many people take the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a first step in a career in health and safety. It provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study. Holders of the National General Certificate are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the qualification also meets the academic requirements for Technical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH).

NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety is established as a leading health and safety award within the UK (and overseas) construction industry and is aimed at Supervisors, Managers and CDM co-ordinators within the construction industry who are required to ensure that activities under their control are undertaken safely. It is likely to prove useful for those concerned with the management of buildings who may need to ensure that contractors are working safely. The qualification is also appropriate for supervisors and managers working in other industries such as utilities, and even broadcasting, where temporary workplaces are a feature of their activities.

Holders of the National Construction Certificate are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The qualification also meets the academic requirements for Technical Membership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH. The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety meets the headline entrance criteria requirements for Construction Safety Associate membership (AaPS) of the Association for Project Safety (APS).

NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management provides proof of your environmental credentials anywhere in the world. Aimed at managers, supervisors and employees throughout the world, who have responsibility for managing environment issues as part of their day to day duties, this qualification focuses on environmental management systems and impact assessments. Research shows that around two thirds of health and safety management positions at work also feature responsibility for environmental management. Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Accredited Training

CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is the industry recognised essential training for individuals with site management accountability, or businesses providing services to construction or civil engineering sites. CITB SMSTS training enables Managers to organise, monitor and measure health and safety performance on site, to establish and maintain safe systems and safe methods of work and to adhere to the relevant legislative requirements.

CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher provides existing Site Managers Safety Training Scheme Certificate holders with an update on the latest legislation and best practice methods for meeting site safety regulations. The SMSTS Refresher course enables individuals who have already successfully completed their Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certification to renew their certificate - It is a mandatory requirement to renew this SMSTS Certificate every 5 years.

The Site Managers Safety Training Scheme qualification, also known as the Site Safety Plus Scheme, is a recognised qualification outlined in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007.

CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is the industry recognised essential training for those with site supervisory accountability, or businesses providing services to construction or civil engineering sites. CITB SSSTS training provides the knowledge base to equip first line managers/supervisor’s, or those seeking to become a manager/supervisor with an introductory level of health and safety competence, demonstrating how it is an essential function of effective supervision and enabling them to contribute to a safely managed construction or civil engineering site.

CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher provides individuals who have previously successfully completed the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Certificate with an update on the latest legislation and best practice methods for meeting site safety regulations.

The Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme is a recognised qualification outlined in the Approved Code of Practice (AcoP) for the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 and is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as the standard training for all supervisors working on their sites.

CITB Site Health & Safety Awareness course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry. The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role.
